You\u2019re going to know if you have a DBA, so if you don\u2019t then check this box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Business Information<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They\u2019re asking for your business address, and it\u2019s okay to fill in your home address if you work from home.&nbsp;For your business phone number, put your cell phone number.&nbsp;Again, if you have a business address or phone, you can put that instead.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember, they&#8217;re looking to get in touch with you for verification purposes, so put the contact information you use most often. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Again, be honest.&nbsp;If you know you have larger purchases planned, then put down what you think you&#8217;ll spend on average each month.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This dropdown menu is going to ask for your role in the company.&nbsp;Typically, I choose \u201cOwner\u201d but it\u2019s up to you to decide your title. There is a box you can check that says your home address is the same as your business address.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, if for some reason this is different than you\u2019ll know.&nbsp; Next, add your cell phone number again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, they ask for your social security number. They do this to verify your identity and do <em><strong>a hard credit pull<\/strong><\/em>.&nbsp; Even though you\u2019re applying for a business credit card, they still verify who you are and check your personal credit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>American Express recommends having a personal credit score between 670-850 to be approved for this card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So long as you stay in good standing, this business account won\u2019t show up on your personal credit report.&nbsp;They simply use your social security number to verify identify and perform a hard credit pull during the application process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/teachingmillionaires.com\/recommends\/amex-blue-business-plus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/teachingmillionaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Screenshot-69-1024x495.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6846\" srcset=\"https:\/\/teachingmillionaires.com\/newstag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Screenshot-69-1024x495.png 1024w, https:\/\/teachingmillionaires.com\/newstag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Screenshot-69-300x145.png 300w, https:\/\/teachingmillionaires.com\/newstag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Screenshot-69-768x371.png 768w, https:\/\/teachingmillionaires.com\/newstag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Screenshot-69.png 1349w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, put your date of birth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here they ask for your \u201cTotal Annual Income.\u201d&nbsp; Essentially, they&#8217;re asking for all the income you have access to in your household.&nbsp; Someone who is married can include their spouse\u2019s income, or if you work a few different jobs, you should include all that income too.&nbsp;
