Here’s an overview on how to check to see if you have targeted offers from Chase for bonuses when you use your credit cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are a number of credit cards I keep in a sock drawer.  Every few months, I dust them off to check targeted offers to see which ones compete for a coveted spot in my wallet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember, credit card companies are competing over you.  They want you to use their cards for all your purchases.  That\u2019s why some of the best credit cards provide cash back, points, and miles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you know they also offer targeted bonuses?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is a Targeted Offer?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Chase recently revamped a number of their credit cards by increasing the earning rates at restaurants and drugstores for their Chase Freedom\u00ae line<\/a> of cards.  They\u2019ve also added some temporary benefits for Lyft<\/a> and DoorDash<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On top of these new enhanced benefits, Chase periodically offers targeted bonus categories to specific individuals.  This includes all of their co-branded credit cards as well, including their Southwest Airlines cards<\/a> and hotels cards such as their World of Hyatt<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means that when you activate a targeted offer, you earn increased cash back or points whenever you spend in a specific category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Do I Find Targeted Credit Card Offers?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I found myself in need of a card that gives a good return on grocery store purchases, and my Chase Marriott Bonvoy\u2122 Credit Card<\/a> just won a place in my wallet to fill that need. <\/p>\n\n\n

This card was targeted for 5X points per dollar on groceries, gas, and drugstore purchases up to $1,500 until March 31st, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can check to see if you\u2019re targeted for these bonus offers too.  Head over to https:\/\/www.chase.com\/mybonus<\/a> and complete the simple form that looks like this:<\/p>\n\n\n

Enter your information and click \u201cActivate now\u201d to see if you are being offered any bonuses.  If you are targeted, you will get a screen that looks like this:<\/p>\n\n\n

I always like to take a picture or screenshot of this page, so I can refer to it later.  Oh yeah, I also keep an updated Google Sheet to track my earnings for each spending category.  Don\u2019t we all?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s all you need to do to find targeted offers from Chase.  If you get a screen that looks like mine, then CONGRATULATIONS.  However, for the cards that have no offers you\u2019ll get a screen that looks like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep in mind you need to check this for all your Chase cards every few months.  Two of my four personal Chase cards were targeted for offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
