I love cruises.\u00a0 Whenever I plan a cruise vacation, I always book directly with the cruise line.\u00a0 It gets me some of the best discounts and deals like my $100 Onboard Credit for the Rest of Your Life!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travel agencies or credit card portals<\/a> offer promos too, but I prefer to deal directly with the cruise line.  If I need to make changes to my reservation, I feel safest calling Norwegian or Celebrity to ensure nothing gets lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cruise lines love to send emails of their current promos.\u00a0 I find most of them to be the same thing just packaged slightly different to give a new feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No one has the time to look at the same email deals over and over.  To keep my sanity, I usually comb through my inbox on weekends hoping to discover something that catches my eye…and, lo and behold!<\/p>\n\n\n

Can You Negotiate Cruise Prices?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The deal above is worth hundreds of dollars in value for me.  I immediately picked up the phone and called my NCL agent to see if I could apply this offer to any of my existing cruise reservations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only was I able to apply the $200 onboard credit to an existing reservation, but the total price for my four-person balcony cabin was also cheaper!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It can be difficult to negotiate cruise prices.  Scoring $200 onboard credit and getting my price down $161.56 is a huge win for my family.  All it took was one quick phone call, and I netted $361.56 on a trip I was already taking! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep in mind, when booking a trip to use your Chase Sapphire\u00ae Card<\/a> to take advantage of the superb Trip Cancellation \/ Trip Interruption Insurance.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The moral of this story is to keep track of your reservations and don\u2019t be afraid to try to get a better deal when it comes along.  Often cruise discounts are only a phone call away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
